USA Recovers Lost 'Sisco,' 'Dragnet' Episodes The new motto at USA Network could be "Resurrecting Dramas ABC Let Die." The cable channel has picked up unaired episodes of the critically hailed, ratings destitute freshman series "Karen Sisco" and Dick Wolf's floundering sophomore update of "Dragnet."USA is making Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET into the graveyard for ABC disappointments. Starting on Wednesday, March 31, the three unaired episodes of "Karen Sisco" will get their premieres. Then, starting on Wednesday, April 21, the five remaining fresh episodes of "L.A. Dragnet" will hit the small screen.Based on Elmore Leonard's novel "Out of Sight" and the subsequent feature from Steven Soderbergh, "Karen Sisco" starred Carla Gugino and Robert Forster. Despite torrents of critical raves, "Sisco" was unable to draw Wednesday night audiences away from "Law & Order," drawing an average viewership of 7.6 million viewers per week.Initially, ABC hoped to shoot new episodes of "Karen Sisco" and give the show a second chance in the spring, but those plans fell by the wayside when the network wasn't satisfied with the direction of the new scripts."Law & Order" guru Wolf revamped "Dragnet" into "L.A. Dragnet" for the fall, but the 10 p.m. ET Saturday time slot left the show stranded. It averaged fewer than 4.8 million viewers in only five airings this season.
